Michael Apperti raises horses. One of his mares developed a disease that prevented her from swallowing food. She was literally dying from starvation. Michael could not afford the surgery to fix this condition. He called KPC and asked that the mare be included in the Prayer Vigil. The next time the vet came to visit the mare, he was completely perplexed. How could she possibly be plump and eating fine when only months ago she was starving with a disease that could only be cured through surgery? Michael replied, "Prayer works!" |
